Using AI To Find Great Sermon Illustrations, with Darrell Stetler (Ep 111)

No one should use AI to write a sermon. But, research? Now we have something to talk about.

How many hours have you spent searching for the right illustration to use in an otherwise finished sermon? What if you had an assistant who could collect a bunch of illustrations for you so you could pick just the right one? Well, you do.

In this conversation, Darrell Stetler and I talk about a new AI program he created, called Sermon Illustrator.

After a short introduction to what AI is, and some of the advantages and dangers of using it, we narrow in on this tool that helps pastors with the mundane task of finding illustrations (stories, metaphors, historical events, and so on) that can give your well-prepared sermon something memorable to help your content connect in a memorable way.
