In almost every church, there is one person who everyone looks to for leadership — the pastor.
But solo leadership was never God’s plan for the church. In Ephesians 4:11-12, the Apostle Paul gave church leaders a better way forward, using a shared leadership principle that, in turn, creates even more mature leaders through the wonder of discipleship.
I call this passage the Pastoral Prime Mandate.
