  1. I have been so encouraged by Karl Vater’s, here is a man who “get’s it” and encourages the large majority of Pastor’s to hang in and keep obedience to our Lord the most important thing. Thanks so very much. This from a Pastor of 30+ years who loves his job and struggles to be faithful and think he is of any value to THE Kingdom.

  2. Karl – Thank you once again for encouraging me. Your blog is truly a God send. We had a family just recently begin attending a large church because there are more teens there and more things to grab their attention. It hurts to hear that, and you want to scream, “You’re not helping the situation by leaving!” However, we all know that’s not the right thing to do. The grandmother still comes to our church on Wednesdays but takes her grandchildren to the large church on Sundays. We can’t keep up with all of the sophistication, and, furthermore, we don’t need to. We have great times in a simple way. Thank you, again! Your articles have been so uplifting!
