Why Am I Moving My Blog? Who Controls Content? And Other Questions Answered

The Pivot blog test-drive is going really well!

So many of you have taken it for a spin and have said such nice things about it. Thanks so much.

Also, a couple of alert readers have made us aware of some minor glitches, allowing us to get them fixed before the big launch. That is very much appreciated. If you find other issues, email me or respond in the comment section below.

Now to answer some of the questions I promised I’d get to.

Why Am I Moving My Blog?

Three reasons.

First, I was asked. They came to me. I never had any plan to move my blog from here. But when the invitation came, I thought it was worth considering.

Second, Leadership Journal (LJ) and Christianity Today (CT) are two of the most highly respected names in church leadership and Christian thought. I feel like I can write for them with a clear conscience. And LJ’s mission matches the mission of NewSmallChurch.com like a glove.

Third, CT and LJ will give me a bigger audience. Much bigger.

I admit it. I want as many people as possible to read what I write.

I always have. Otherwise, I wouldn’t take the time to write it.

Will We Have to Pay to Read the Pivot Blog?

No. Never. I will never charge money, or let anyone else charge money, for my online blog.
